Using your factory OEM key fob, a simple Lock > Unlock > Lock sequence fires up the engine remotely without requiring a second remote or smartphone app. On cold mornings, the system warms the cab, pre-heats the steering wheel and seats (based on your exit settings), and defrosts the windshield before you step outside. In summer, it brings the interior temperature down to a comfortable level before you open the door.
The kit is built around the Fortin EVO-ALL bypass module and the vehicle-specific THAR-GM6 T-harness, which plugs directly into the factory BCM's White, Blue, and Green multi-pin connectors — with no wire cutting, splicing, or soldering required anywhere in the vehicle. Once the harness connections are made, a one-time Dcryptor programming procedure pairs the module to the vehicle's immobilizer via the included Fortin Flash-Link Loader and a Windows PC, after which the system runs fully off the factory CAN bus.
