Each cowl guard is manufactured from Bushwacker's proprietary Dura-Flex 2000 TPO, the same ruggedized automotive-grade thermoplastic used across the entire Trail Armor product line. This material delivers exceptional impact resistance and flexibility while remaining 100 percent UV protected to prevent chalking, fading, cracking, or warping over time. Unlike steel cowl guards, Dura-Flex 2000 TPO will never rust, making it ideal for Jeeps that see all weather conditions year-round. The OE matte black textured finish complements factory OE trim, aftermarket fender flares, nerf bars, and other Bushwacker Trail Armor components for a cohesive, purpose-built look.
Installation takes just seconds and is completely drill-free. Simply clean the cowl area with the included alcohol prep pads, position the guards, and press firmly onto the automotive-grade 3M double-sided adhesive tape for a secure, permanent bond. The adhesive reaches maximum strength after 24 hours of contact. All necessary adhesive and installation instructions are included. These cowl guards fit both 2-door and 4-door JK Wrangler models. For complete JK Trail Armor body protection, pair these cowl guards with rear corners (14009 for 2-door or 14010 for 4-door), rocker panels (14011 for 2-door or 14012 for 4-door), and the hood and tailgate protector set (14013).
