System Error (Focus) is causing this camera to not work. The lense fully extends and retracts on its own, but it stays extended when you power off. When you power on it will retract and extend again. To keep it retracted you have to pull the battery before it extends again. The error is possibly related to the much smaller focus motor, but not the zoom / extend / retract motor.

This wasn't caused by a drop or impact, I was using it on vacation and this error happened right after I had been shooting on max zoom. Not sure if this is repairable. I did disassemble, clean, and put it back together but no change. If you can get the parts the lens and sensor assembly is all one unit. I will include the battery so you can test and possibly bring it back to life. Screen works. Cosmetically it is very clean. The wood grip was added, and could be removed, it's just double sided 3M tape. I will also include the original box.
