Vincent Bach D Trumpet Early Elkhart 236/43
The 236 bell, which is standard for D trumpets, is installed on this instrument. Typically, it is paired with a #7 leadpipe, but this instrument appears to be a custom specification fitted with a #43 leadpipe, contributing to an even richer and more colorful tone.
Intonation is excellent, and it is well-suited for pieces requiring transposition or frequent high notes.
Condition and Details
- All pistons are stamped with matching serial numbers
- Excellent airtightness
- Lacquer shows small spots of wear and bubbling around the bell, with some peeling at minor repair areas
- Approximately 97% lacquer remains

- One repair on the branch extending from the valve casing to the first slide
- All repairs have been cleanly done
