Only under 365nm UV light does the yooperlite rock have a bright orange glisten, 395nm UV light does not. 365nm UV light flashlight makes the glowing rocks "pop" out making them easier to find. 365nm is dimmer because it's purer, concentrating more energy on invisible UV light for better fluorescence.
Q: Why is some cat urine undetectable by UV light flashlight?
A: Because cat urine contains small amount of minerals or elements (mainly phosphorus) that fluoresce under ultraviolet light. However, some cats eat foods and water that are low in phosphorus, so they have low levels of phosphorus in their urine, so their urine may not be detectable with UV light flashlight.
Batteries Installation Guide
- Please use new 6*AAA alkaline batteries;
- Confirm whether the batteries with polarity are installed correctly; (NOTE: Sometimes if the flashlight doesn't work, it may be caused by the reverse installation of the positive and negative poles of the battery.)
- And confirm whether the battery holder is placed in the correct position. (Pleases follow the arrows on the battery tube.)
