Inserted inside this 4 inch by 5.5 inch wood display of heavy duty game used
vinyl/canvas that was once the outer 'skin' of a wall pad that served in the
former home ballpark of the New York Mets ..... Shea Stadium!
The painted side of the wall pad skin is not trapped behind glass.
Thus, you can see it & touch it! It can easily be removed, if you'd like to
take it to Citi Field & get it signed by your favorite Met players!
Then just as easily slid back inside after the game!
This display stands sturdily on its own on any of its four sides!
carries MLB Authenticated's hologram number SH-073663.
It was authenticated in October of 2008.

This Shea Stadium wall pad was present for countless seasons/decades,
as well as for FINAL game ever played on September 28th, 2008.
Other then being wiped down with a damp cloth to remove any surface dirt,
this wall pad segment is exactly is it was the day it was removed from "Big Shea".
Any/all imperfections you see to the wall pad segment was
'earned' from its tenure in the Queens ball yard.
