The pen is in excellent condition, the pen has been hardly used.
According to the papers, the pen was purchased in 1998 but has been left most of the time in its original box.

As usual, there is a slight oxydation of the gold-plated ring next to the nib. This is due to the Montblanc ink acidity.

The bordeaux color has been discontinued years ago.

It  is much less common than the black one and sought after nowadays. 

Very smooth « F » nib.

Just one of the most classical Montblanc pens.

Comes in its original box with papers.

Of course this is a genuine Montblanc.
