Beautiful antique Japanese cloisonné enamel vase dating to the late Meiji to early Taisho period.
This elegant example features a soft celadon / mint-green ground decorated with finely executed silver wire work depicting blooming roses in multiple colors along with a delicately rendered bird in flight. The composition is balanced and refined, with excellent shading and detail throughout the floral elements.
The border work at the rim and base adds a classic finishing touch, and the vase retains a clean, glossy enamel surface. The wire work is fine and precise, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship typical of quality Japanese cloisonné from this period.
The vase is accompanied by a carved wooden display stand, which complements the form nicely.
A beautiful display piece with strong decorative appeal.
