This is a WWII-era MD-7/ARC-5 Modulator with Westinghouse Dynamotor, Style H7107A, manufactured by Westinghouse for Colonial Radio Corp (contract 34719). Rated at 28 volts DC input. The dynamotor data plate reads D.C. Output 575 volts at 0.16 amps continuous and 549 volts at 0.25 amps intermittent. The modulator enclosure carries a red brass CAUTION HIGH VOLTAGE warning plate. Base label identifies this unit as MD-7/ARC-5, 28 Volts DC, NXsa20124, 379B CCT. SAR 306-A processing labels are intact on both the dynamotor body and base. Multiple mil-spec circular connectors present with original wiring tails attached. A desirable piece for WWII military radio collectors and ARC-5 restoration hobbyists.
