This lovely SILVERTONE necklace features a large heavy pendant with a scrolled tendriled outer rim that gives it charm and character.  The center is accented with beautifully etched and detailed, vintage Swiss coin with an inscription that celebrates an annual Swiss markmanship festival.  The center is accented with the image of St. Nicholas of Flue (also known as Brother Klaus) - the patron saint of Switzerland. He is known for his efforts to maintain unity and promote brotherhood.

The reverse has an openwork center with the image of a cross in the center of two flags with a pair of clasped hands at the top.  It measures 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches long.  The chain is 24 inches and closes with a safety catch.  It has a substantial weight and quality and is in very nice vintage condition.
