This is a history of war, not to glorify it, but written to highlight the human endeavour of men and women, which is brought out in wartime – on the home front as well as in battle.
There are 584pp text, maps, b&w and colour plates and it is in almost fine
condition, probably unread, within the original card outer of issue, as
