The Original Lava brand 16.5 inch lava lamp in green Alien motif.  Lava lamp has been tested and functions properly.  Bulb and switch operate properly. The glass is filled with a green liquid and the "lava" is a dark color.  Be aware that it takes at least an hour for the liquid to heat and start the classic lava bubbles in the lamp. The liquid does have some floaters and crystal type formations inside.  These are common with lava lamps. The lamp still looks great. Has a 6' cord. There are a few small imperfections on the lamp I have noted in the photos.  

Be aware that as lava lamps sit unused, the "lava" (a wax type substance) solidifies. To break this up and make the lava flow like in the listing photos, heat cycling may be required. This is easy to do, simply turn the lava lamp on for 6 hours and then off for 6 hours. This will repeatedly heat up and cool off the lava and liquid in the lamp bottle. One day of this cycling is usually sufficient to make the lava flow.
