The Nanocamp Metronom 2.0 module is an easy to install 'drop-in' upgrade for the TDA1541 and TDA1541A.

 It provides the following benefits:

Synchronous DEM clocking in the context of the TDA1541 means that the internal Dynamic Element Matching (DEM) circuit, responsible for precise digital-to-analogue conversion, is directly synchronized to the system clock, ensuring all switching elements within the DAC activate at the exact same time for optimal audio quality, minimizing distortion caused by timing variations within the chip itself.

With synchronous DEM clocking the sound becomes more focused and the bass is tighter, better defined and more tuneful.

The third photograph shows the DEM oscillator at pins 16/17 after with the module installed and synchronous DEM clocking activated. This is now a clean square wave with a frequency of 176.4 kHz.

The modules are supplied with fitting instructions and are fully tested before shipping. Returns will not be accepted.
