Up for sale is a Vintage “Nifty” Corkscrew & Bottle Opener! This metal (steel) bottle opener was made by Vaughan in the 1930s or early-1940s! It was originally advertised as “A Pocket Necessity” and has a hole to attach to any key ring or keychain. The opener is marked “Nifty” on both sides with “Vaughan Chicago USA” in small print on one side. The opener measures about 2⅞” long (as folded), and its corkscrew is just under 1½” long. As shown in the photos, the opener is in very good condition for its age with some normal wear from use, including some scuffs, scratches, and a little surface oxidation. This vintage “Nifty” corkscrew bottle opener would make a great addition to your collection!
