The front corner of the stone is missing some of the marble, but this is UNDER the clear varnish so was intentional and part of the original production process. The gold-tone metal surfaces display bright color with scattered tiny rubs, pinprick pits, and casting irregularities along edges and folds but absolutely nothing severe. Hand-painted enamel details on face, hair, hat plume, and polka-dot tie remain colorful with only a few minute spots of wear on high points. Stone base shows natural marbling and a crystalline cavity at the front with a few light edge rubs from shelf contact. Underside retains an old paper label with marked price, showing age toning, spotting, and curled corners from long-term storage. No breaks, no chips, and no repairs to the figurine or base.
