The Korg Polysix Analog Polyphonic Synthesizer is one of Korg’s most iconic vintage instruments, released in 1981. At a time when many competing synthesizers offered only five voices of polyphony, the Polysix delivered six voices, reflecting the engineers’ ambition and giving the instrument its memorable name.

The Polysix quickly became a worldwide bestseller thanks to its warm analog sound, patch memory, and built-in effects such as chorus, phase, and ensemble. These features were considered advanced at the time and helped define the lush sound heard in many productions of the 1980s.

Many Polysix units suffer from battery leakage issues, but this unit shows no leakage and the circuit board remains clean. The battery has been replaced and maintenance has been performed. Operation has been confirmed and the synthesizer works properly.

There is cosmetic wear consistent with age and use, and a chip on the wooden side panel. No case or manual is included. Only the items shown in the photos are included.
