Lovely example of a Cobridge stoneware high fired ox blood glazed vase which was produced to re-create the Ruskin high fired glazes. The goal of Cobridge was to replicate the Ruskin high fired glazes such as sang de boeuf which were difficult to achieve and control. Cobridge was set up as an offshoot of Moorcroft, producing wares for a limited time only between 1998 and 2005.

15.5 cms high. In excellent used condition with no issues - please note this is a piece of art pottery which as stated was technically difficult to produce so the glaze is not uniform, it does have a pleasing streaking effect and a very rich colour much like the highly prized Chinese sang de boeuf glazed items.
