Donated to our boutique, this vintage Casige miniature child’s sewing machine dates to the 1930s, is crafted in black enameled metal with a charming lithographed scene from the classic tale of Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf decorating both sides of the frame. These hand-crank machines were produced as functional teaching tools, allowing children to learn basic sewing skills on a real working mechanism scaled to their size. This example remains in very good vintage condition, showing only light wear consistent with age, including minor dust accumulation and slight wear to the stand feet. The lithography remains vivid and appealing, making it both a collectible display piece and a nostalgic example of early 20th-century educational toys. Measures approximately 8" L x 4 1/2" W x 7 1/2" H.
