Tired of muffled tones and annoying buzzes? Time to fix that. Kenwood KFC-6998RS 6"x9" 5-way coaxial speakers drop serious clarity and power handling into your daily driver. Built for precise highs and punchy lows, the RS Series brings premium performance to a drop-in coaxial design.
The tweeter comes with three supertweeters for incredibly precise highs.
Five speakers in one
These 5-way coaxials come with a low-profile tweeter and three supertweeters. Still, this powerhouse only needs 3-3/16" mounting depth. They drop into most factory mounting spots: dash, doors, rear deck. No cutting or modifications necessary.
Plays well with aftermarket power
Handling 150 watts RMS, the KFC-6998RS will run best off an amp. However you power it, these speakers are ready to perform.
Engineered for smooth sound
The diamond-array polypropylene woofer fights distortion and sharpens detail. Up top, the balanced dome tweeter is shaped to create a wide sound field, thanks to Kenwood's Sound Field Enhancer tech. The tweeter is mounted to the speaker with Kenwood's Acoustic Sound Harmonizer, which is strategically cut to prevent wave interference from the woofer below. Add in a damped, stress-balanced woofer surround, and you've got a speaker that handles pressure without breaking a sweat.
Grilles are included for custom installations.
