An Authentic $5 Casino Chip from Casino de Paris — Stateline (Lake Tahoe), Nevada (1952)
This is a single authentic 5 casino chip from Casino de Paris at Stateline, Nevada (South Shore Lake Tahoe). The chip features a solid pink/mauve body with no separate edge inserts and a decorative Greek key (meander) border pattern embossed around the rim. The face displays gold embossed lettering reading "CASINO DE PARIS" in a circular arrangement with a large "5" in the center. The chip was manufactured by B.C. Wills & Co., the premier casino chip manufacturer of the mid-20th century, and dates to 1952 — making this a genuinely rare and early Nevada gaming chip.

The Casino de Paris was an early Nevada gaming establishment operating at Stateline on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe in the early 1950s. The "Casino de Paris" name evokes the glamorous French entertainment theme that was popular in Nevada gaming during this era — the same name was famously used for the showroom at the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas. Chips from early Lake Tahoe and Stateline properties from this period are scarce and highly sought after by collectors of vintage Nevada gaming memorabilia.
