The Bosch GLM 30 Professional is an easy-to-use laser distance measurer. Turn it on with the main button, place the rear against a wall, and press the button again to measure up to 30m with ±2 mm accuracy. 

It features real-time, continuous measurement that updates as you move and automatically adds up lengths.

It will be shipped without the batteries as that’s easier.  It does use two (2) triple A batteries.
