Rare find among rare finds! This vintage cup from the New York Central Railroad was made by Syracuse China in December 1948, according to the code stamp on the bottom.

It boasts the iconic and collectible Mercury Pattern.

It's 3 inches tall, 3.25 inches in diameter. It weighs 8.4 ounces.

This is a bouillon bowl or cream soup cup, sans handle.

Sweet addition (or beginning) to your collection!

Good condition. This extremely rare handleless cup has microscratches from use all around the ivory/bone china. The logo is in good condition, with a few minor scuffs running across it, as shown. Not noticeable unless you hunt for them. A small area of rust stains opposite the logo, on the bottom of the outside, as pictured. These are near a chip on the foot rim, which has been lovingly repaired with a sealant, as shown in pictures. Stamps on the underside are legible and in good condition — CC-12 Syracuse China. See pictures for details. Any vintage preowned item will have wear and discoloration from use, display, storage, and time.
