This Janet King "Santa's Big Day, Feet First" Santa Figurine by John Hine Ltd 1992 is a Vintage Christmas Bookend/Ornament. It features a whimsical scene of Santa Claus stuck feet-first in a fireplace, with a golden retriever and a grey cat watching from the hearth. There is Intricate detail from the texture of the dog's fur to the soot on Santa's boots, the craftsmanship is well observed.
While it can be used as a standalone figurine or ornament, these were also designed as decorative bookends. It was part of a larger series by Janet King that captures humorous and traditional "behind-the-scenes" moments of Father Christmas.

This Janet King Christmas ornament "Santa's Big Day, Feet First", can be used as a book end or a decorative piece for your Christmas mantlepiece. The ornament is new and never used.
