This is a 2021 (latest date reference I could find) Thomas Nelson Black Goatskin Premium Genuine Leather NKJV Large Print Wide Margin Reference Bible with the original box.

Very Good+ or Like New- Binding excellent, cover clean, No marks.  Picking up the Bible and looking through it, you are impressed the Bible is in very nice, clean, excellent condition with most definite like new qualities.  The only notable is that that the original box has a couple of small dings/scratches that you can see with a critical eye.  Not that you are going to read and study the box, but want to call it out.

Measures approximately 9 3/4" x 8" x 1 5/8". So, has a nice presence opened up on a table or desk.  I really like this format in a Bible. While Study Bibles are terrific for reading to learn God's Word. The wide margin format facilitates reading to hear God's Word speak to you about what's going on in your life. The margins facilitate prayers, and comments and quotes. As you read through the Bible again and again you come across these encouragements.  As a reference Bible there is no commentary or notes. (Although, there are brief opening book introductions for historical reference.) Just the text, lots of cross references and occasional alternate translations of words or literal meanings at the bottom of the page.   In the back there is a concordance to study where important words, places and people are referenced in the Scriptures.   The words of Christ are in red in this edition and there are three ribbon markets ribbon marker to hold your place for reading and study.

The NKJV Version is a translation of the original languages that is more on the word for word side or literal side of translation.  Consequently it’s terrific for words studies and seeing the original structure of the language (in as much as one can in English).  It's the only popular translation where you can see in the foot notes where the Majority Text and Critical Text have a different reading.  Most of the time it's the same and where it is different the meaning is of no consequence.  There are a few places though where seeing the different readings (usually a word or phrase, in a few places, a section) is helpful.  I think the translation compares wonderfully with the NASB, ESV and NIV (and of course the beloved KJV).  It's a really nice Nelson NKJV Wide Margin Reference Bible with a font that's easy on the eyes that would make a terrific primary Bible, or perhaps a comparative reader to another favorite translation.

No returns, unless I messed up and the Bible is not as described.
