TIMOTHY LEARY “HOW TO OPERATE YOUR BRAIN” – 1994 LECTURE TOUR PERFORMANCE POSTER

This is a poster for lecture by TIMOTHY LEARY and AL JOURGENSEN on “HOW TO OPERATE YOUR BRAIN.” In 1994, shortly before his death, controversial psychologist and author, Timothy Leary, embarked on a lecture tour to expand on his writings on the benefits of the use of psychedelic drugs. He was joined in these lectures by musician, Al Jougensen, frontman for the band Ministry (listed as “Al Jorgensen” on the poster). The tour highlights were later released as a short video – currently available on U-tube. This is a poster for one of the stops on that lecture tour, a benefit for iO Magazine. Tour stop is dated May 11 (1994) and location is the “The Terrace” (unidentified as to location). This poster, measures 17.5 inches x 22.5 inches, is printed in 2 colors on heavy white stock. Poster style is to emulate crude "clip art" ransom note. Poster is not otherwise identified as to source/artist. (Note: I could not find much info on this lecture tour nor anything at all on this particular poster. I believe that this is an original (1994) poster for the event, but may possibly be a reproduction. This poster has been in my possession since early 2000's, I have no recollection as to the source.). 

Poster is in excellent condition, bright colors, crisp corners, without aging, never displayed, stored flat.
