MINT 1/6 PLATE THERMOPLASTIC CASE "HUNTER & KILL" & AMBROTYPE OF THREE SIBLINGS - The three cute children in this sixth plate ambrotype appear to be siblings, the brother flanked on each side by each of his sisters. I especially love the young boy's hat and outfit. Their likeness resides in a mint condition thermoplastic case. A great cased portrait for your collection of 19th Century photography. CONDITION: Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The sixth plate ambrotype has nice contrast, tonal range and sharpness. As mentioned above, the case is in superb antique condition. The case hinges are tight, the clasp snaps shut nicely and the interior has a beautiful maroon velvet pillow. I will carefully ship this item to the winner by way of Priority Mail.
