This is a brand new 10 lb weight by gold's gym. I didn't actually weigh it I assume it's correct. It does have a brand new sticker on which makes me believe that it's brand new. They did not paint it too well. My guess if you wanted to use it as a decor you can take the paint off and put paint back on but if you use it for workout it doesn't really matter.
