This vintage postcard features the United States Mint located at Delaware & West Colfax Ave. in Denver, Colorado. The mint is one of the last two remaining mints in the U.S., minting coins including pennies to half dollars. It first opened its doors in September 1863 as an assay office. The postcard is unposted and showcases the historic and scenic view of the mint building.
