Very rare projector Made in New York by the American branch of French pioneering film company PATHE. Was part of a Motiography (Chicago) projector, along with some Powers apparatus. I believe this to be a very rare Pathe projector head that dates to about 1908-1910. A very early example of an American-made projector device. I do not know exactly what model it is. It’s not a prototype. If you happen to know, please please let me know. This item is pretty heavy as it’s cast-iron and bronze and steel. I believe you could still make this operational. It needs lenses and a cranking handle. Would also look amazing on a base. An excellent addition to your historical motion picture collection. Again, I cannot find another one that is similar.
