1938 Holmes and Edwards inlaid Silver plate Flatware, Danish Princess pattern.  51 pieces. 

The Danish Princess is an uncommon pattern.  This was my grandmother's set from 1938 which she was very proud of.   Danish Princess is a deeply inlaid Silver plate and it comes in a very heavy white oak box.  It has suffered some neglect in the last 88 years but is still quite beautiful.  The box has some stamping on the back and came that way.  The set has not been polished in many years so I believe it protects it from tarnish.  This set is also made by the International Silver Company.
