'My Heart' grapes are a rare, premium hybrid variety developed in Japan (and also grown in Korea) known for their distinctive natural heart shape. A cross between Shine Muscat and Wink grapes, they are bright to dark red, seedless, and known for a crisp texture, high sugar content, and a slightly fruity, sweet flavor.

My Heart is a dessert variety of the selection of the Uehara Grape Research Institute in Yamanashi / Japan . It is a hybrid (Shine Muscat x Wink). My Heart is a self-pollinating, medium-late variety (125-135 days), with strong growth and good woodiness. Clusters large and very large 400-800 grams, conical-cylindrical, moderately compact. Berries large 10 - 12g, heart-shaped (especially visible when the fruit is cut) , bright red to dark red, no tendency to burst. Flesh firm, crisp, harmonised, with light fruity notes, very tasty. Sugar content high 18-20% with an acidity of 6-7g/l. High yield 80-85%. A very attractive variety due to the shape and unique taste of the fruit. Medium disease resistance (like the more resistant Vitis Vinifera) with frost resistance down to - 20°C. Fruit tolerates transport and storage well. The variety is suitable for commercial and amateur cultivation. Grafted vines of ‘My Heart’ are of the best quality.
