Nice original WW2 production Guernsey resistance pin badge


These badges were produced while Guernsey was under German occupation during WW2

Constructed locally by cutting the Kings head from a coin and fixing to a pin 

These were typically worn under jacket lapels or anywhere not in plain sight of German soldiers

It was a silent way locals used to show their opposition to the occupation

This was a risky decision to wear one as the punishment for being caught by the Germans were pretty harsh

This one looks like the pin on the reverse has came off and then been soldered back in place
