This sandstone jug was made at the Marlotte Faience Factory (Faiencerie d'art de Marlotte), France by Emile Mousseux sometime  during the period from 1916 to 1933. It is a very fine example of Art Nouveau style. With its beautiful greenish color, this original jug is a unique and collectible item from the early 20th century. One side incised inscription: LA CLEF D'OR BARBIZON. Underneath is the artist's signature. The condition is near excellent. Dimensions: approx 6" H x 4" D
