The check bears a 2-cent orange documentary revenue stamp (canceled) and a prominent pink Elling State Bank — PAID — Mar 6, 1901 — Virginia City, Montana cancellation stamp across the face. Blank printed by Wm. Mann Co., Philadelphia.
