Or maybe NOT the end. My love of rabbits continues with this series of Barbie ensembles, where not only do I showcase rabbits, but also promote reading. I was the only kid in the family who loved to read, and the only kid to go to college. More than just a coincidence? I think not.

Each Barbie or Skipper wears a spring-colors-inspired outfit and is accompanied by a mini plush bunny who tags along with her in a tote embellished with a rabbit themed children’s book decal on the front, which also holds a carrot snack for her BBFF. The dolls and clothing came to me second hand and were treated to a nice refresh before being accessorized with new elements—shoes, belts, totes, hats, jewelry, cellphones, plush rabbit and carrot snack, each pictured in the photos.

Whiskers is a brown bunny. He and his carrot snack accompany this Millie Barbie in a blue tote embellished with a decal of of the children's book "Snuggle Bunnies." The Millie Barbie has flat feet and a posed right arm. Her limbs do not flex. She wears blue pajamas, pink sleep mask, pink ballet-style slippers, and a sleeping-bunny-themed cell phone held on the wrist with a beaded stretch bracelet.

Also included is my “Hop To It Treasure Hunt” if you want to hide the doll and bunny with an Easter basket. You are free to use the game whether you purchase a doll or not.

Like Francie Nolan in “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn,” my goal was to read every book in the school library. Growing up, that investment in books served us both well. So, more than buying just a cute doll with a cute bunny, my hope is that you seek out the book featured on the tote to read to a child.
