  • Why laser etched over diamond etched/engraved. Diamond etching leaves a very rough gouge that ruins the beauty of the brushed aluminum and soon the etching will turn black as the bare aluminum oxidizes.
  • The process we use to produce our laser etched license plates is this: The laser removes only the very thin layer of black paint, leaving a very detailed view of the Beautiful brushed aluminum underneath. A glossy waterproof UV protected clear-coat finish is then applied leaving a very beautiful, very smooth glossy surface that will  keep the brushed aluminum from oxidizing.
  • The end result is that you will have a very durable license plate with the beauty of the brushed aluminum very clearly defined.
