Antique brass sporting field glass binoculars marked “Sportiere” and “Day & Night” on the vulcanite eyecups.


Likely French manufacture, circa 1890–1910, often marketed as “Sportiere Day & Night Field Glasses – Paris.” These early binoculars were used for hunting, travel, theater, and maritime viewing.
