Original, historic film negative. Photographed at Kilbourn WI in 1914 by the documentary photographer Charles Medin. The date and location were recorded & retrieved from his scrupulous notes. The town of Kilbourn was renamed Wisconsin Dells in 1931.
Charles Medin was artist/photographer and then assistant editor of the Illinois Central Magazine, circa 1900s to 1949. His images are well-known to railfans as he documented railroads and city street scenes across the Eastern & Southern states.
