Used, full-size (4/4) unbranded violin, exactly as shown in the photos. The instrument features traditional carved construction with a spruce top and maple back and ribs, showing visible flame on the back. The varnish is a warm amber-brown with natural patina from use. The scroll is carved and has machine heads instead of traditional ebony pegs.
The violin is currently assembled and strung. It is fitted with an ebony fingerboard, ebony or ebony-stained pegs, an ebony tailpiece with a single fine tuner, and an ebony chin rest. The bridge is present and upright, and the soundpost appears to be in place. Based on inspection and visible setup, this violin is close to playable but has not received a full professional setup.
Cosmetic wear is visible throughout, including surface scratches and finish wear consistent with normal use. No open seams were observed at the time of inspection. Final adjustments such as bridge refinement, soundpost positioning, string replacement, or general regulation may be required depending on the buyer’s preferences. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
A case is included for storage and transport. No bow is included.
