📚 HISTORY

Service History: Recent head gasket replacement including machined cylinder head and cut valve seats. New Facet electronic fuel pump plus regulator. Electronic ignition, new leads and spark plugs.

Recent Work: New 10” Minilite-style wheels and new Falken tyres, Minisport alloy roller tip rockers, Kent valve springs, Cooper S 7.5” front discs with Cooper S pads and calipers, new front hubs and bearings, new steering arms, Miniflow Stage 1 exhaust with Maniflow inlet and K&N filter, carburettor jets adjusted to suit.

Documentation: V5, various receipts and a restoration photobook.

Original / Modified: This Mini has been built with usability and enjoyment in mind rather than strict originality, featuring a number of tasteful upgrades that improve drivability. It also comes with a rare period-correct NOS Springalex 13” leather steering wheel and hub. Fitted with a later A-Series engine.

 

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Mechanically and structurally the car presents well and drives nicely. There are some areas of paint showing small micro bubbles in places which are visible on closer inspection but do not significantly detract from the overall appearance.

 

This vehicle is now over 50 years old and should be appreciated as a classic car rather than compared with a modern vehicle. While it has benefited from restoration and recent mechanical work, occasional maintenance and minor component replacement should be expected as part of classic car ownership.
