Chicago artist Ginny Sykes works in painting installation performance video and public art. Her practice is informed by feminism as a resistance to institutional and perspective classification of universalized female experience. Aligned with Carl Jung's understanding of alchemy and consciousness to the center of her practice.

Her work  has been exhibited all over the world including Chicago Sophia,Bulgaria Berlin Germany Milan Italy Mexico Stockholm Sweden and Mallorca Spain

  She has created over 40 public art projects in the Chicago area.
