This is a Kenwood High Speed DC Super Eleven Stereo Receiver. It is a highly coveted monster solid state receiver known for its size (over 2 feet wide) and its power 120 watts per channel. It has a distinctive black face, wood veneer panels, a built in equalizer/reverb and exceptional power. I replaced bulbs that were out, cleaned all the switches/pots with Deoxit, checked/soldered any weak joints and tested it. This thing really sounds great! The tuner is exceptional bringing in stations I can't get on my other stereos. The only things I couldn't test were the microphone, as I don't have one, and the tape 1&2 “record” jacks The tape 1&2 “play”work fine with my cd player hooked into them. The phono and AUX also work as they should. The only flaws I found is the missing tuner knob, the timer (will turn but not lock onto a time) and a small ding on the left side panel, rear lower corner shown in photos. I will include a manual and unless you have owned one of these models you really must read it to correctly set it up and operate it to its maximum ability. This is not your everyday stereo!
