Shaft is steel with some sort of plastic or rubber coating. There are a couple of spots where the plastic (or rubber) coating has come off. Right near the bottom of the club head and in the middle. Some of the tape is peeling away.

Club head has wear and some clear signs of use. As you can see from the photos, there is discoloration, rusting and pitting.

Could use some restoration. Otherwise, the club is sturdy.
