The stamp “U.S. Zone Germany” dates these figurines to the immediate post–World War II period (circa 1945–1949), when Germany was divided into occupation zones.


These were most likely produced by a small porcelain factory in Thuringia (Thüringen), Germany, the historic heart of German figurine production.

The handwritten “W 90” is almost certainly a mold or decorator number, not a model name.
