PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION BEFORE CONTACTING ME:
I am happy to answer any questions but please, read the entire listing and information provided and look at the photographs before contacting me. The answers to your questions are most likely already provided within this listing.
Also, do not send me messages such as "Best Price", or "What'll you take", or the like. I won't respond. If you want to make me an offer, it's up to you to start the process by stating the sum that you are offering. If it is reasonable, I will reply immediately. If it's a lowball offer, I won't dignify it with a response.
No dealers, no wholesalers, no brokers. I won't sell at your price point.
TERMS:
1.) This listing, including but not limited to the information contained in the Item Description along with the photographs and video provided herein, speaks for itself.
2.) Seller reserves the right to end or terminate this listing at anytime for any reason without publishing notice.
3.) $500 deposit due payable through EBay payments immediately upon purchase.
4.) The remaining balance shall be due to Seller in full within 72 hours of purchase and shall be paid by Buyer to Seller via Bank Wire Only from Buyer's account to Seller's. (I DO NOT ACCEPT SECURE PURCHASE OR ANY OTHER ONLINE OR ELECTRONIC PAYMENT SITE) All funds to be paid in U.S. Currency, no Crypto or Digital Currency Accepted. Buyer will provide Seller with his contact information so that Seller may contact buyer by phone to provide the requisite banking information. Buyer shall wire payment to Seller so that it is received by Seller the same day. If payment is not received in the manner, or within the time stated herein, then Seller may at his sole discretion act to terminate the sale with written Notice to Buyer. If Buyer breaches the terms of this listing, then Seller is within his rights to retain Buyer's $500.00 deposit as Liquidated Damages and owe no refund or credit to Seller. The term "Remaining Balance" is defined as the full sum due Seller by Buyer less Buyer's $500 deposit.
5.) Once full payment is received from Buyer, Seller will provide Buyer with the requisite information necessary to perform the following actions that Buyer shall perform within 72 hours thereof:
A.) Insure the vehicle in the Buyer's name. Buyer shall email or text Seller proof of such
insurance but in no instance shall Seller deliver vehicle without proof of insurance.
B.) Buyer shall provide Seller with an email or text of his or her driver's license at the same
time as provided in Paragraph 6(A) above. Michigan Law requires that I verify that the
purchaser of the vehicle has reached the legal age (18) to purchase this vehicle and I
cannot release it unless I have documentation that the individual both insuring and
purchasing the vehicle is one in the same, and is 18 years of age or older.
C.) Buyer shall make the necessary arrangements to have the vehicle picked up for
transport to him/her. All such costs associated with transport are solely the Buyer's to
bear and Seller shall have no liability to perform any action, or to pay any cost
associated therewith except for providing access to the vehicle for collection by the
cartage company. In accordance with this subparagraph (C), Buyer shall provide Seller
with the name and phone number of the cartage company so that Seller may work with
such entity to schedule the collection of the vehicle.
NOTE: It is Winter in Michigan. I would suggest that this car NOT be transported on an open air trailer. It should be a fully enclosed trailer.
D.) Seller will provide Buyer with the following documents and/or items subject to the
Buyer's full compliance with such terms set forth in Paragraph 5 above: The Michigan
Title, Original Window Sticker, Tire & Rim Road Damage Policy, and Two Key Fobs.
One Fob will remain with the vehicle for transport. As for the remaining documents,
Seller can place these in the vehicle for shipment, or at Buyer's election, Seller can
ship to them Buyer for an additional fee of $50. If Buyer chooses the latter, he/she shall
add such sum into the final balance due paid as set forth in Paragraph 5 above. The car cover,
removable rear wind screen, and the factory battery trickle charger will be placed for shipment
in the trunk or rear seat of the vehicle.
6.) Buyer has a maximum period of Seven (7) days inclusive of the date of sale to have the vehicle collected from Seller. Should Seller be required to maintain storage of the vehicle beyond such seven day period, Buyer shall pay Seller storage fees in the sum of Twenty ($20) Dollars per day up to and including the day the vehicle is picked up by Buyer or his/her agent. Such storage fees must be paid to Seller in full via Bank Wire, plus $35 in Bank Wire Fees assessed Seller by his bank prior to Seller releasing the Vehicle to Buyer or his/her agents.
7.) The vehicle is currently registered in Michigan. In Michigan, license plates remain with the owner, not the vehicle so Buyer will be responsible to register the vehicle and obtain license plates at his/her sole expense.
8.) Buyer is solely liable to pay all applicable taxes including but not limited to, sales tax, registration fees, and title transfer fees.
-----------------------------------
I am selling this vehicle for two reasons:
I.) Because it requires a lot of manual care. Due to the ceramic coating and paint protection film, it can only be cleaned by hand. I am in my 60's and medical issues preclude me from being able to take care of it in the manner it requires and deserves.
II.) Due to Michigan weather, between the limited season and inclement weather, I am limited to less than 30 days per year that I can really enjoy it. This car needs to be in the south or the southwest where most days are sunlight, evenings are warm enough to keep the top down, and the new owner can enjoy driving it without worrying about an unpredicted rainstorm hitting.
I never beat on this car and always drove it with the respect this powerful and beautiful a car deserves. I would like to see it acquired by someone that will care for it in the same way as it truly is one of a kind.
And now, for the vehicle itself:
---------------------------
This is a 2023 Camaro 2SS Convertible.
It is about as close to a showroom new car that you are going to find.
High Gloss Black with a black fabric convertible top, and two-tone dark gray and adrenaline red interior includes red seats, red door panels, red knee pads, and red seat belts.
I custom ordered this vehicle in January 2023. It came off the line at the Grand River Avenue Assembly Plant in Lansing, MI on May 8, 2023, and was delivered to me on May 16.
I have only had one mechanic work on it and that was the dealer's performance specialist who also prepped the car and performs its annual oil changes and inspections.
This car has never been smoked in nor has any food or beverage been inside of it. The rear seats have never been sat in.
It handles and rides beautifully. Smooth in Touring mode, firm in Sport mode, and extra firm in Track mode.
The 6-Speed transmission is a true manual and shifts cleanly.
The fastest that I have driven this car is 90 MPH in 6th gear at 1,800 RPM. This engine has plenty of power.
There are no dents nor are there any nicks, scratches, or chips in the paint.
It has the 6.2L LT1 engine mated to a Tremec 6 Speed Manual Transmission with a 3.45:1 Rear Differential Gear.
It has every mechanical and performance suspension option offered not only for the 2SS, but for the ZL1 as well because it was a special order vehicle. It has the Magnetic Ride Control option as well as the adjustable exhaust, handling, and ride (Touring/Sport/Track) control. The only performance item that the ZL1 has that this car does not is the LT4 Supercharged Engine.
The wheels are black 20 inch 5-spoked forged aluminum with Goodyear Eagle Summer Performance Run Flat Tires.
Four way Brembro 4 Piston Performance Brakes with red calibers with "Camaro" labeling.
Dual Exhaust with four tips.
It has all the options available with the 1LE package except for the Recaro Seats, because I wanted the Adrenaline Red interior and the Recaro only comes in gray, and the 3:45 rear end instead of the 3.91 rear end as I had no use for it.
The interior has every available option including but not limited to; Cruise control, climate control, rear camera and rear parking assist sensors, memory power heated/cooled seats on both sides, tilt steering, electronic rear window defroster, intermittent wipers, front windshield Heads Up Display, Bose sound system, variable color interior lighting including the doors, wheel wells, and dash trim, illuminated Camaro Logo sill covers, color matching splash guards all four wheels, SS monogramed center console cover, custom Camaro SS carpet mats front, back, and trunk. In other words, read the sticker near the end of the photographs. If Chevrolet offered it, this car has it.
Read the Window Sticker enclosed in the photographs above for all standard and optional equipment.
It also comes with a custom made Logo Carpeted Mats (Four inside plus one for the trunk), Satin over felt Beverly Hills Car Cover, the Chevrolet Camaro trickle battery charger, Custom "SS" valve cover caps, rear wind screen, and the black & red SS Wheel Center Caps.
Includes two wireless key fobs with remote power top control (lowering only)
It is equipped with Siriux/XM radio and On Star. Both of these services require subscriptions that I will be terminating upon sale, but you are welcome to subscribe to.
The current factory warranty expires May 15, 2026 so there is over four months remaining. You may contact your local Chevrolet dealer and purchase and extended warranty that covers pretty much everything but tires, brake pads, and the clutch.
I also purchased a 36 month road hazard policy for the wheels and rims that expires May 15, 2026. You can transfer this to you for $50. I do not know if an extension of this policy is available.
This vehicle has not only been babied, it has been downright spoiled.
It has never been driven on wet or dirt roads, nor in the rain, snow, or any type of inclement weather. If it wasn't nice enough to drop the top and the roads weren't bone dry, then it sat covered up in my garage. You can look at the two photos of the undercarriage. You can see the original stickers and markings.
It is stored annually from late the third week of October until the third week of April. The ambient temperature of my garage averages 45 degrees in the winter. The tires rest on molded foam boards so that the tires do not form a flat spot. A factory Camaro Battery Trickle Charger is attached to keep the battery at full strength. I start it once every 4-6 weeks and let it run for 5 minutes.
The car has had its clear coat completely wheeled of all imperfections, followed by the application of Protection Paint Film, followed by four coats of Ceramic to seal everything in. The interior is also ceramic coated so cleaning only requires warm water and a microfiber cloth. The carpet, carpeted floor mats, fabric top, and rims are also ceramic coated.
Once a year, usually in the fall, the ceramic requires a rejuvenation coat. I have this performed as part of a complete detailing.
Because of this you can NEVER take this car through any type of an automatic or mechanical car wash so if you aren't prepared to hand wash it, then don't buy it. It should only be cleaned with a PH neutral soap.
This is the reason that I am selling it. It's too much work at my age and in my medical condition to take care of it.
Disclosure:
When the vehicle was a month old, some idiot backed into the very edge of the left rear corner of the valance cover and scuffed the hell out of the paint protection film. There was no structural damage of any kind, however, it was decided that the quickest way to get this repaired and to allow me to have time to actually drive it, rather than it spending 45 days out of commission, was to order a completely new valance, and to have it painted and clear coated and given 30 days to dry, where upon the old one was removed and the new one installed followed by reapplication of the PPF and Ceramic Coating. By doing it this way, I only lost use of the car for 10 days so even though Car Fax shows this repair, there was no serious or structural damage. It was solely cosmetic and you cannot tell the difference because the paint matches perfectly.
Again, I am happy to answer any questions but please, read the information provide in this listing or as stated on the Vehicle Window Sticker in the photos above.
Yes, I have blacked out prices and no, I will not reveal what these are until the vehicle is paid for. I will provide the unredacted window sticker with the car.
Thank you for your interest.
