Up for bid in this auction is an Old Letter from the Daughter of Former Bergdorf Goodman Vice-President (Leonard Hankin of 5297 Independence Avenue; Riverdale (Bronx); New York, New York) to her Friends Dick and Paul.

From Kim Hankin, who at the time was studying abroad at the Roedean School in Brighton, England. 

Letter is dated September 16, 1972.

Kim writes that she is "sick of the sight of women" and that in the last two hours she "was compelled to go to a tea party for sailors from the HMS Vernon".  She also notes that "Monday is my 1st golf lesson...It's the only way to meet anything that wears trousers!".

Before she signs off, Kim writes that she has "to bring a couple of things over to the sanitorium to a friend who's ill."
