Unique English-Made Tire Pressure Gauge, High Quality, Compact, Rugged, 10-48psi

I have a number of pressure gauges in my tool collection and none have maker or manufacturer markings. I’m assume these were all made in Asia and not of very good quality. This one, by contrast, is marked “Made in England” and seems to be of a very high quality. It’s shorter than usual, just 4 1/4 inches when closed. This makes it an excellent shirt pocket tool for the mechanic, and an easy fit just about anywhere. How do they do this? The numbers rotate around the shaft — I’ve never seen that before. They go from 10 to 48 with every whole number represented.
