*Specimen measures 7 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm. approx. * Historical note, Amity, Edenville, and Pine Island are small hamlets in Warwick, Orange Co. N.Y. with the distinction of having outcrops of Franklin marble with many wonderfull collectable minerals! Edenite, Warwickite, & Clintonite were discovered here in the 1800's (type localitys). Recently Fluoro-Edenite a beautifull fluorescent was found by a collector and identified by the NYS museum. Edenite, Norbergite and Diopside add to the list of great fluorescent minerals. The largest Spinels in the world are from here! Chondrodite and Fosterite are associated. Amphiboles, Pyroxenes and Scapolites are found in large crystals.
