GENERAL GRADING RUBRIC
Variants for Screen Grades
A: Almost no flaws whatsoever, may show very minor blemishes
(scratches, dings, knicks, scuffs, or keyboard mark)
A-: Faint/lite Keyboard Etching, Small Blemishes (scratches,
dings, knicks, scuffs) Faint/lite pressure marks/white spots
B: Moderate Keyboard Etching, Moderate/more abundant
blemishes, moderate pressure marks/white spots OR an abundance of faint/lite
pressure/white spots, very few dead/stuck pixels
C: Major Keyboard Etching, Major/Very abundant blemishes,
Major pressure marks/white spots OR an abundance of moderate pressure
marks/white spots, moderate amount of dead/stuck pixels
F: Damaged to a point of needing replacement. Bad video,
broken, missing completely, untestable
Variants for Physical Grades
A: Almost no cosmetic flaws whatsoever, may show very minor
signs of wear, scratches, marks, scuffs, dings, or dents, minor bare metal showing
B+: Lite/small scratches, marks, scuffs, dings, dents and
not in large abundance.
Minor worn conditions (IE: Worn trackpad, keycaps, palm
rest, etc)
B: Moderate scratches, marks, scuffs, dings, dents, moderate bare metal showing, minor warps or minor variants in large abundance.
Small breaks (IE: small crack in bezel, chassis, bottom/top
cover, near I/O ports, etc).
Missing unimportant cosmetics (IE: Rubber stoppers on bottom
cover, webcam cover, TrackPoint/Pointer Stick rubber cap, less than 3 keycaps, letters
on keycaps fading, etc).
More moderate worn condition (peeling paint, very worn
trackpad, keycaps, palm rest, etc)
C: Major scratches, marks, scuffs, dings, dents or moderate
variants in large abundance.
Moderate bare metal showing. moderate warps or moderate
variants in large abundance.
Moderate breaks (IE: Moderate break/missing piece in bezel, chassis, bottom/top cover, near I/O ports, etc OR and abundance of small breaks).
Missing cosmetics (IE: missing trackpad cover (hardware
still there and/or buttons), bezel, top/bottom cover, more than 3 keycaps, etc)
