A pair of original mid-20th century Bakelite religious pendants comprising:
• “Pledge of Victory” WW2 crucifix cross with soldier figure
• Gothic style Bakelite cross
Both crosses are in very good vintage condition. Both pieces are period Bakelite and show natural age wear consistent with wartime or early post-war manufacture.
The “Pledge of Victory” crucifix is associated with WWII era devotional items produced during material shortages, when Bakelite and other phenolic resins replaced traditional metals.
These are genuine vintage examples — not modern reproductions.
